Erasmo Mortaruolo appointed to Benevento ASI Consortium

Erasmo Mortaruolo has been appointed as the regional member of the Steering Committee for the Benevento Industrial Development Area (ASI) Consortium. The appointment was formalized via a presidential decree signed on October 30 by Campania Region President Roberto Fico, following a proposal from Fulvio Bonavitacola, the Regional Assessor for Productive Activities.

Mortaruolo, a former regional councillor who was not re-elected in the 2025 regional elections, succeeds Guerino Gazzella, who resigned in January 2026. Mortaruolo will serve out the remainder of the current committee term. The appointment has drawn political attention due to Mortaruolo’s ties to the political faction associated with Vincenzo De Luca.
