ERC Igualada calls for better coordination of Festa Major

The Esquerra Republicana (ERC) municipal group in Igualada has emphasized the importance of citizen participation during the Festa Major. The group highlighted that the city is built not only through institutions but also through community spaces, local associations, and social fabric.

While praising the involvement of cultural entities, neighborhood associations, and volunteers, ERC noted a lack of institutional leadership and coordination, citing the existence of three different festival programs as evidence. The group plans to meet with various associations and collectives in the coming weeks to gather feedback and proposals for improving future editions of the festival.
