Erciyes University (ERÜ) and the Kayseri Chamber of Industry (KAYSO) have signed a “Graduate Education Cooperation Protocol” to strengthen the link between academia and the industrial sector.
The agreement aims to develop qualified human resources by allowing KAYSO personnel and employees of member companies to benefit from graduate education programs offered by ERÜ. A key focus of the partnership is to align academic research with industrial needs, specifically by having engineers select thesis topics that address real-world problems faced by the industry.
During the signing ceremony, ERÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun emphasized the importance of university-industry collaboration, while KAYSO President Mehmet Büyüksimitci noted that such cooperation is vital for maintaining the competitiveness of the Kayseri industrial sector.
