Ercolano launches Gli Ozi di Ercole summer festival Sep 10‑12, 2026

The Parco Archeologico di Ercolano will host the "Gli Ozi di Ercole" summer festival on September 10, 11 and 12, 2026. The three‑night programme, titled "Amore e guerra" (Love and War), blends lectures, theatrical readings and concerts that explore classical culture from Plato to Freud.

Performers include Lucia Mascino, Laura Pepe, Ambrogio Sparagna, Raffaello Simeoni, Carmen Gallo, Isabella Ragonese, Silvia Romani, Gennaro Carillo, Federica Fracassi and Francesco Di Bella. The venue will be open from 20:00 to 24:00 each night with a maximum audience of 400 people. Tickets cost €10 for adults, €5 reduced for EU citizens aged 18‑24, and free for minors, disabled visitors and certain subscription holders. Sales are available online and at the ticket office until capacity is reached. Attendees are advised to wear low, comfortable shoes and use insect repellent; free parking is provided at nearby schools.
