Following a three-day parliamentary group meeting in Abant, the Republican People's Party (CHP) issued a declaration claiming Turkey is experiencing a severe management crisis across economic, social, legal, and political dimensions. Regarding economic issues, CHP Group President Faik Öztrak called for a parliamentary research commission to investigate a recent fund crisis, demanding that political, bureaucratic, and market connections be exposed to protect small investors. Party leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu added that the Capital Markets Board (SPK) must account for its auditing responsibilities, noting that resignation alone is insufficient for true accountability.

In a separate context, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed international affairs, stating that the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement is not an alliance against Iran, Israel, or any third country, but a move toward regional stability. He also advocated for reforms to the UN Security Council to make it more representative and effective.
