Erdogan condemns Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has strongly condemned recent Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabian territory, affirming Turkey’s continued support for the Kingdom. During a telephone call with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Erdoğan expressed his condolences for the victims of the attacks and stated that Turkey will stand by Saudi Arabia through the current crisis.

The condemnation follows a series of Houthi strikes targeting civilian facilities and airports in Saudi Arabia. Since October 5, attacks on five different airports have resulted in 20 deaths and hundreds of injuries, alongside significant material damage and disruptions to aviation. This escalation is part of an ongoing military confrontation involving civilian aviation and energy facilities that has intensified since July.
