Erencan Yardımcı Joins FC Kaiserslautern on Loan from Hoffenheim
24‑year‑old Turkish striker Erencan Yardımcı has completed a season‑long loan move from TSG 1899 Hoffenheim to 2. Bundesliga side FC Kaiserslautern. Kaiserslautern will pay a €500,000 loan fee and the contract includes an obligatory purchase option valued at about €5 million.
Yardımcı previously spent time on loan at Austrian club Sturm Graz, scoring two goals in eight matches, and at Eintracht Braunschweig where he recorded five goals and one assist in the previous season. He said, “I’m happy to now be able to play here regularly.”
Kaiserslautern sporting director Marcel Klos said, “With his speed, endurance and intense playing style, Erencan fits very well into our system.” Hoffenheim licensing head Paul Pajduch added that Yardımcı’s development at Braunschweig has prepared him for the next steps at Betzenberg.
