Eretria: Speedboat collision leaves two injured

A speedboat collided with an anchored sailing vessel in the maritime area outside the port of Eretria, Evia. The incident involved a Greek-flagged speedboat carrying four Serbian passengers and a Polish-flagged sailboat carrying two Greek nationals.

Two of the Serbian passengers sustained head injuries during the collision and were transported to the Chalkida General Hospital for medical treatment. Local volunteers provided initial first aid before emergency services arrived.

The Hellenic Coast Guard, local police, and municipal officials attended the scene. Authorities have launched an investigation into the exact causes and circumstances of the collision. No maritime pollution was reported following the accident.
