Erfurt Heat-Future-Lab Launches Interactive Exhibition on Heat Adaptation

The University of Erfurt opened the Heat‑Future‑Lab Thüringen, an interactive exhibition that explores the impacts of extreme heat and gathers public ideas for coping with rising temperatures. Coordinated by the Institute for Planetary Health Behaviour, the project invites visitors to share their concerns, learn about heat‑stress symptoms and view climate projections for the region up to 2050.

The exhibition features interactive stations, visual displays and proposals from city planners and architects on greening streets, adding trees, fountains and shaded areas to mitigate heat in urban environments.
