Eric Bischoff Says Road Dogg Could Revitalize TNA Creative After WWE Misfit Claim

Former WWE executive Eric Bischoff said Road Dog g (Brian James) was a "square peg, round hole" in the current WWE creative direction, noting he never worked directly with James and that the fit was cultural rather than a matter of competence.

Bischoff later argued that the same experience would make Road Dog g a major upgrade for TNA’s creative team, contrasting him with former TNA head Tommy Dreamer. He highlighted James’s television production background, talent relationships and motivational skills, saying those qualities "would be a huge leap forward" for the promotion. Bischoff also pointed to Road Dog g’s Attitude‑Era performer experience as valuable when combined with his TV knowledge, suggesting it could give TNA more polish and structure.
