Eric Chelle clarifies Victor Osimhen transfer rumors

Nigeria national team coach Eric Chelle has clarified recent comments regarding Victor Osimhen's potential transfer from Galatasaray. Chelle stated that his previous remarks about the player moving to another team were misinterpreted, emphasizing that he never said Osimhen needed to leave the club.

Chelle noted that while transfer rumors are common for players of Osimhen's caliber, the striker enjoys his time at Galatasaray and the club remains satisfied with his performance. He also addressed Osimhen's recent absence from the national team squad, explaining that the player suffered an injury 10 to 15 days before the matches, making his availability uncertain at the time of selection.

There is currently no dispute between the player, his club, and the national team, according to the coach.
