Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival to stream free online

The Crossroads Guitar Festival, hosted by Eric Clapton, will be available for free global livestreaming on September 26 and 27. The two-day event is held at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas.

Since its inception in 2004, the festival has gathered renowned guitarists to perform and collaborate, with proceeds benefiting the Crossroads Centre Antigua, an addiction treatment facility founded by Clapton. This year's lineup includes returning performers such as John Mayer, Buddy Guy, Joe Bonamassa, and Gary Clark Jr., alongside festival debutants Trey Anastasio, Tommy Emmanuel, and Julian Lage. Eric Clapton is scheduled to perform on both nights.

Viewers can access the broadcast via crossroads.thenextguitar.com. Registered users can utilize The Next Guitar Media Player to access four different streaming feeds, including a ‘Guitar Stream’ that provides close-up views of musicians’ fretboards and pedalboards. The event will also be available for limited-time replay following the live performances.
