Eric Eggert departs Knowbility after six years

Eric Eggert has concluded a nearly six-year tenure with the nonprofit organization Knowbility. During his time with the organization, Eggert transitioned from supporting W3C/WAI work to serving as Tech Team Lead and later as Director of Accessibility Services starting in 2020.

Eggert’s work involved conducting accessibility audits, providing training, and supporting community programs such as the AccessU conference. He noted that his role involved leading a US-based team while residing in Germany and focused on an educational approach to accessibility, aiming to help clients build in-house competencies through audit reports designed as learning tools.
