Eric Meyer appointed US Ambassador to Sri Lanka

Eric Meyer has been officially sworn in as the United States Ambassador to Sri Lanka. A career Senior Foreign Service Officer with expertise in South and Central Asia, Meyer succeeds Julie J Chung, who served from 2022 to 2026.
