Eric Robinson brings Stanley Cup to Hollydell Ice Arena

Carolina Hurricanes forward Eric Robinson brought the Stanley Cup to Hollydell Ice Arena in South Jersey to celebrate with his community and former mentors. The event served as a homecoming for the 31-year-old, who began his hockey journey at the same rink where he learned to skate.

Robinson shared the milestone with his former coach, Guy Gaudreau, and members of the Gaudreau family. The gesture held deep sentimental value, as Gaudreau was a formative figure in Robinson’s early career and is the father of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau, who passed away nearly two years ago.

Hundreds of people gathered at the arena to catch a glimpse of the trophy. Robinson noted the importance of giving back to the community and providing local youth with the inspiration to pursue professional hockey.
