Erica Fernandes injured by prop gun on set of ‘108 Base Hospital Uri’

Television actress Erica Fernandes reported an on-set accident while filming an action sequence for the military-medical show ‘108 Base Hospital Uri’. During the shoot, an iron dummy Uzi prop gun, weighing approximately 3-4 kg, fell and struck her nose.

Fernandes shared the incident on Instagram, noting that while the accident caused a clean cut, the damage was minor. The production team decided to keep the footage of the actual hit in the final cut of the show to maintain authenticity.

Fernandes, who portrays a doctor in the series, noted that she had spent significant time researching medical procedures and body language to prepare for the role.
