Erik Ňarjaš calls Dubai apartment purchase his worst investment

Former Slovak parliamentarian and former "Let's Dance" contestant Erik Ňarjaš publicly criticised his real‑estate investments in the United Arab Emirates. He bought three apartments in Dubai’s prime districts – Marina, Downtown and Bay Square – and had previously promoted the properties as offering returns at least twice those in Slovakia.

Ňarjaš now says the holdings have become his "worst investment", citing deteriorating conditions for owners and warning other Slovak investors against broker promises. He posted the comment on social media, noting that geopolitical tensions in the region and a cooling tourism market have reduced the attractiveness of Dubai’s property sector, which had been a hotspot for Slovak buyers.

His statements highlight a shift in investor sentiment as some are turning to European coastal markets with lower yields but personal use potential.
