Viking FK defeats Kristiansund BK 8-1 to match club record

Viking FK achieved a dominant 8-1 victory over Kristiansund BK, matching a club scoring record last held by their 1984 win against Rosenborg.

New signing Erik Botheim made a significant impact in his home debut, scoring two goals and providing one assist. Other scorers for Viking included Peter Christiansen, Henrik Heggheim, Kristoffer Haugen, and Simen Kvia-Egeskog. Kvia-Egeskog’s goal marked a personal milestone as the grandson of former Viking coach Svein Kvia.
