Erika Ikuta and Osamu Shitara star in new Sumitomo Life commercials

Sumitomo Life has announced the release of two new television commercials scheduled to air nationwide starting September 25. The advertisements feature Erika Ikuta and Osamu Shitara of the comedy duo Banana Man.

The first commercial, titled ‘Ikuta Just Dancing,’ depicts Ikuta engaging in physical movement for enjoyment, set to the song ‘Oduruup’ by the band Frederic. The second commercial, ‘Kyukyu-tai Cube,’ introduces the company’s new medical insurance coverage, ‘Kyukyu-tai Cube.’

During a post-filming interview, the two performers discussed their long-standing professional relationship, noting that Shitara has observed Ikuta’s career since her debut with Nogizaka46. The pair also shared personal health habits, including Ikuta’s interest in making koji and Shitara’s routine of performing squats and stretches.
