Rareș Cojoc discusses cost of living in Mauritius

World ballroom dance champion Rareș Cojoc has shared insights regarding the cost of living in Mauritius during a family vacation. While visiting a local fish market with his partner, Claudia Dumitru, and their children, Cojoc noted that the destination is extremely affordable for those earning foreign income.

He reported purchasing two kilograms of fresh captain fish from the Indian Ocean for approximately 55 lei, while 20 large shrimp cost around 30 lei. Cojoc emphasized that local food prices are significantly lower than those typically found in Europe or Romania, challenging the perception that exotic destinations must be prohibitively expensive.
