Erin Foster, creator and co-showrunner of the Netflix series ‘Nobody Wants This’, has addressed recent political comments made by star Adam Brody regarding the Israel-Gaza conflict. Speaking on the ‘Not Skinny But Not Fat’ podcast, Foster described her feelings on the matter as ‘complicated.’

Foster noted that while she loves Brody, she disagrees with his stance. She compared the production set to a dinner table where people engage in debate and disagreement. Foster emphasized her desire to support the show’s Jewish audience, stating that the series was created as a ‘love letter to Judaism’ to provide positive representation.

The discussion follows a September interview with GQ, in which Brody expressed support for a ‘free Palestine’ and characterized the situation in Gaza as a ‘genocide.’ Brody indicated that he hopes future administrations will correct policies contributing to the conflict.
