Erin Wartia’s Rp1 Billion Mediation Delayed, Police to Question Him Over Assault Allegations

A civil mediation hearing worth 1 billion rupiah between public figure Erin Wartia and his former housekeeper Nur Rohmah was postponed in South Jakarta because neither party appeared. Wartian’s lawyer, Adil, said Wartia is currently abroad, preventing his attendance.

Police in Metro Jakarta Selatan have scheduled an interrogation of Wartia as a suspect in the alleged assault of the domestic worker. The questioning is set for Thursday, 6 August 2026, following earlier statements from the plaintiff’s counsel, Deolipa Yumara, that investigators have already taken witness testimonies and now need Wartia’s account. The case remains pending as both the mediation and criminal investigation continue.
