Erion Braçe urges return of Transparency Board as fuel prices hit 214 lek per litre in Albania

Socialist deputy Erion Braçe criticised a sudden rise in fuel prices, noting that regular gasoline now costs 214‑216 lek per litre and premium fuel 218‑230 lek per litre. He accused traders of deliberately raising prices at the start of the weekend, when tourist travel peaks, and warned that the increase could damage the tourism season.

Braçe called for the reinstatement of the Transparency Board for fuel pricing, arguing that such a body would curb abrupt price hikes and protect consumers from unjustified increases.
