Erja Lyytinen announces 50th birthday live album

Finnish blues rock musician Erja Lyytinen is releasing a new live album titled ‘Erja Lyytinen – 50th Birthday Live 2026’. The release, scheduled for October 9, 2026, via Tuohi Records, commemorates her 50th birthday.

The performance was recorded on March 21, 2026, at the House of Culture (Kultsa) in Helsinki. The album package will be available in double CD, double vinyl, and full-length DVD formats. The setlist spans her career, featuring tracks from albums such as ‘Voracious Love’, ‘Another World’, and ‘Smell the Roses’.

The first single from the release, ‘One Thing I Won’t Change’, features Finnish rock legend Sami Yaffa on bass and backing vocals. The track is a rearrangement of a song from Lyytinen’s 2012 album ‘Forbidden Fruit’, blending blues, classic rock, and glam-punk influences. The live band also includes Harri Taittonen on Hammond organ and Jesse Lehto on drums. Additionally, the Swedish group Baskery appears on the track ‘Torn’.
