Erkrath to host information session on nursing home financing

The city of Erkrath is hosting an information session regarding the financial aspects of moving into a nursing home. The event, titled ‘When the money for the nursing home is not enough...’, will be held on October 20 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the Caritas meeting center on Gerberstraße.

Susanne Steller, a staff member from the city's housing and care advisory service, will explain the costs associated with residential care. The session aims to clarify which expenses must be covered personally and what forms of financial support or assistance may be available under specific conditions. The free event is intended for elderly residents, relatives, and anyone interested in early financial planning for long-term care.
