Erlensee campsite ranked as Germany's most dog-friendly

A new ADAC ranking has identified the Erlensee campsite in the Rosenheim district of Bavaria as the most dog-friendly camping destination in Germany. The ranking, based on an analysis of approximately 12,500 PiNCAMP reviews and comments, highlighted the site's lakeside location, swimming opportunities for dogs, and proximity to natural recreation areas and hiking trails.

Bavaria secured three spots in the top 25, including Knaus Campingpark Viechtach at 16th and Via Claudia Camping in Ostallgäu at 22nd. The top ten list includes locations across several German states, such as Schleswig-Holstein, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Lower Saxony. In Bavaria alone, there are over 200 campsites that welcome dogs.
