Erli hosts book presentation on wartime memories

In Erli, a presentation of the book ‘Cicatrici’ by Gabriella Polito will take place on August 27. The work, published by Bacchetta Editore, collects the memories of ten witnesses regarding the Second World War in the Ingauno area.

The event aims to foster a dialogue between Italian and German perspectives on war memory, focusing on the experiences of both the occupied and the occupiers. The discussion will feature Angelo Berriolo, founder of the Raggruppamento Ingauno Volontari della Libertà, and other living witnesses to facilitate a connection between local history and European reconciliation.
