Erling Haaland admits to being a camper in Call of Duty

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has admitted to being a “camper” in the Call of Duty franchise. During a YouTube video featuring a gaming session with rapper Aitch, the 26-year-old footballer confessed to his habit of hiding in map corners to wait for opponents.

“It is a bit embarrassing to say, but I have been a camper all my life. I am that type of player that everyone hates,” Haaland stated. He noted that playing the series brings back nostalgia from his youth and emphasized that he prefers playing with friends.

The video is part of Activision’s “Month of Grudge Matches” promotional campaign for the launch of Modern Warfare 4. The game, which features a campaign set in the Korean Peninsula, has recently entered an early access period, with the multiplayer mode scheduled for release on November 22.
