Erling Haaland and Lamine Yamal top football transfer market at €220 million each
After the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Transfermarkt raised the market valuations of several players. Norwegian striker Erling Haaland and Spanish forward Lamine Yamal each reached a new record of €220 million, the highest ever assigned to a footballer. The €200 million barrier was also breached by France’s Kylian Mbappé, who rose to that level after scoring ten goals in the tournament.
Other notable valuations include Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise at €170 million, Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham at €160 million, and England’s Julian Álvarez at €110 million. Legends Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo were listed at €15 million and €10 million respectively, reflecting the shift toward younger super‑stars in the market.
