Erling Haaland breaks Scandinavian scoring record

Erling Haaland has set new milestones in international football, becoming the first player to reach 20 goals in the history of the UEFA Nations League. During Norway's 3-2 victory against Denmark, the Manchester City striker scored his 63rd and 64th international goals in just 56 appearances.

With an average of approximately 1.14 goals per match, Haaland has surpassed Zlatan Ibrahimović on the all-time list of top scorers in Scandinavia. While Swedish legend Ibrahimović scored 62 goals in 122 matches, Haaland achieved his tally in 66 fewer games. The absolute record in the region remains held by Lotta Schelin with 88 goals.
