Erling Haaland earns four Guinness World Records

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has been awarded four Guinness World Records for historic achievements in his career. The 26-year-old Norwegian received the certificates at the Etihad Stadium.

The four records recognized are:

• The fastest player to reach 100 goals in the Premier League, achieving the milestone in just 111 matches. • The most goals scored in a single Premier League season under the current 38-match format, with 36 goals during the 2022/23 campaign. • The all-time leading scorer in the UEFA Nations League, with 19 goals for the Norwegian national team. • Scoring five goals in a single Champions League match, a feat he shares with Lionel Messi and Luiz Adriano.

Guinness World Records officials verified these milestones through official statistics from the Premier League, UEFA, and the Norwegian Football Federation.
