Erling Haaland's World Cup heroics push his valuation to a record $240 million
After a standout performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where Norway reached the quarter‑finals and Haaland scored seven goals and added an assist in five matches, his market value was revised to $240 million (≈€220 million). The valuation ties him with Spain’s prodigy Lamine Yamal as the first duo of footballers to exceed the $220 million mark.
Haaland, who also netted 38 goals for Manchester City across all competitions last season, said he is mentally exhausted after playing 67 games for club and country, describing his brain as “fried” and calling for a holiday. He has been left out of City’s pre‑season tour of Asia to recover before the new season begins.
