Çermik 21 Football Club promotes youth sports in Diyarbakır

Established in 2021, the Çermik 21 Football Club in the Çermik district of Diyarbakır is working to protect children and young people from harmful habits and negative environments through sports.

The club currently supports approximately 300 athletes, including an A-team and an infrastructure program that includes about 200 players aged 6 to 18. To ensure consistent participation, the club provides shuttle services to transport children to training sessions.

Honorary President Ramazan Yıldız stated that the club views its mission as both a sporting and social solidarity effort. Beyond athletic training, the club established a relief fund to provide aid to regions affected by severe earthquakes.

Coach Recep Tutal noted that the U-19 group is currently competing in the Turkish championship, while the A-team has begun its league matches, recently securing its first victory.
