Ernesto Baragetti notes rising youth social awareness at Italian geometry contest

Ernesto Alessandro Baragetti, a member of the National Council of Surveyors and Geometers and board member of Geoweb, addressed the award ceremony of the national competition “I Futuri Geometri Progettano l’Accessibilità” in Rome. He said the fourteenth edition confirms a steady growth in the social and civic sensitivity of the participating students, both in identifying problems and in developing project solutions.

Baragetti highlighted the essential role of teachers, thanked them for guiding the youngsters, and reaffirmed Geoweb’s commitment to remain a technical partner for the contest. He expressed hope that future editions will continue, helping to reduce societal gaps as young people spread these new values within their communities.
