Ernesto Chavana apologizes after kicking drone into model's face

During a live segment of Mexico's Es Show on October 26, television host Ernesto Chavana accidentally kicked a flying drone, causing it to strike Colombian model Isabella Rojas in the face.

The impact resulted in facial lacerations and a bleeding lip for Rojas. She was briefly escorted off the set to receive medical attention from paramedics before returning to the studio. Despite her injuries, Rojas attempted to handle the situation with humor and reported that her wounds were minor.

Chavana initially reacted by blaming production staff and jokingly suggested his new shoes might have caused the mishap. He later issued a public apology on air, stating, “I feel very ashamed and embarrassed for what I have just done.” He has taken full responsibility for the accident and pledged to cover any medical costs incurred by Rojas.
