Ernests Gulbis opens 13 million euro tennis center in Piņķi

Latvian tennis player Ernests Gulbis has inaugurated a new multifunctional tennis and padel center in Piņķi, Mārupe municipality. The project represents a total investment of 13 million euros, with financing provided by Bigbank.

The facility features 16 indoor courts, consisting of 6 tennis and 10 padel courts, alongside 5 outdoor tennis courts for seasonal use. The complex spans a total indoor area of 9,195 square meters and includes additional amenities such as a gym, physiotherapy rooms, saunas, and ice baths.

Gulbis stated that the center's mission extends beyond training professional athletes, aiming to promote regular physical activity and well-being for all ages. He emphasized the importance of providing opportunities for children and youth to grow through sports, noting that the environment helps build responsible and purposeful individuals.
