Ernie Clement leads AL voting for 2026 MLB All-Star Game
Toronto Blue Jays second baseman Ernie Clement is ahead of all American League players in the first phase of fan voting for the 2026 Major League Baseball All‑Star Game, with 2,054,130 votes. He holds a margin of about 80,000 votes over Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez, who led the AL in the earlier vote update.
Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers remains the overall leader across both leagues, surpassing two million votes with a total of 2,310,735. Phase 1 of the ballot closes at noon ET on June 25, after which the top two vote‑getters at each position and the top six outfielders will advance to Phase 2. The All‑Star Game is scheduled for July 14 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia and will be televised on FOX.
