Ernst & Young invests $100M in human-centric employee skills

Ernst & Young (EY) has announced a $100 million investment program designed to reward employees for developing human-centric skills in response to the rise of artificial intelligence. The initiative focuses on qualities that machines cannot easily replicate, such as judgment, adaptability, leadership, and collaboration.

Dante D'Egidio, CEO of EY Americas, stated that the investment aims to prepare the workforce for an increasingly complex sector by valuing essential professional behaviors and leadership. The program is structured into three distinct recognition tiers:

1. Everyday Leadership: Rewarding daily initiatives that encourage learning and teamwork. 2. Transformation That Drives Measurable Results: Honoring significant contributions through innovation and technology adoption. 3. Game-Changing Impact for the Enterprise: Celebrating actions that have a lasting effect on the firm.

The strategy seeks to integrate technological advancements with human expertise, ensuring employees can leverage AI to improve productivity while maintaining the human touch necessary for client service and organizational culture.
