Ernst & Young to award $100 million in bonuses for human skills

Ernst & Young (EY), one of the Big Four management consulting firms, has announced plans to award $100 million in bonuses to employees who demonstrate essential human skills. The initiative focuses on rewarding qualities that artificial intelligence cannot easily replicate, including leadership, judgment, business acumen, collaboration, and adaptability.

While the firm will also reward technology adoption, the investment is specifically designed to attract and retain talent capable of navigating a tech-led, human-powered professional landscape. Dante D'Egidio, EY Americas CEO and U.S. managing partner, stated that the investment reinforces a commitment to building a future workforce by recognizing the behaviors necessary to lead the profession and serve clients effectively.
