Eroski invests 1.6 million euros to expand Zaragoza supermarket

The Spanish supermarket cooperative Eroski is investing 1.6 million euros to renovate and expand one of its locations in the Universidad district of Zaragoza. The project involves incorporating two adjacent premises, including the former site of Muebles Nadal, a business with over 150 years of history in the city.

The expansion will nearly double the store's commercial surface area, increasing it from 545 to 1,025 square meters. This growth will allow for new fresh product sections and a modernized layout. The renovated supermarket is scheduled to reopen on November 19, following construction that began in June.
