Erpe-Mere care homes to host Sinatra tribute via livestream

Residents of four residential care centers in Erpe-Mere will experience a musical tribute to Frank Sinatra through a livestreamed performance scheduled for late October. The concert, titled ‘We Love Sinatra’, features singer Gene Bervoets and the Lou Roman Band performing classics such as ‘My Way’, ‘Fly Me to the Moon’, and ‘New York, New York’.

The performance originates from the Zwaneberg Culture Center in Heist-op-den-Berg, but will be broadcast directly to WZC Avondzon, WZC Sint-Vicentius Aaigem, vzw De Ster, and WZC Meredal. This allows residents to enjoy the show from their familiar surroundings, either in communal halls with large screens or within smaller living groups.

The initiative is organized by Cultuurconnect, a digital support center for culture and community centers, in collaboration with twenty partners including EMotia. This project aims to bring professional cultural performances to approximately eighty residential care centers across Flanders and Brussels.
