Errol Spence Jr. to Return in July Against Tim Tszyu in Australia

American boxer Errol Spence Jr., 36, announced his first fight since a July 2023 loss to Terence Crawford. The comeback is scheduled for July 25 in Australia, where he will face former WBO light‑middleweight champion Tim Tszyu at junior‑middleweight (154 lb). Spence previously pursued a bout with WBC champion Sebastian Fundora, but negotiations fell through.

Crawford publicly supported Spence’s return, posting on X, “Good seeing you back out there. Get to it, I’ll be there supporting.” Tszyu, who has lost two of his last three fights—including defeats to Fundora and Bakhram Murtazaliev—offers a challenging opponent as Spence seeks to rebound after a lengthy layoff and a move up from welterweight.
