ERT Circuit announces theatrical performances in Friuli Venezia Giulia

The ERT Circuit is bringing several theatrical productions to the Friuli Venezia Giulia region this October.

On October 18, the Teatro Odeon in Latisana will host a 'data zero' performance of ‘L’alba dopo la fine della Storia’. Written by Paolo Di Paolo and directed by Giacomo Pedini, the play explores the transformative decade of the 1990s following the fall of the Berlin Wall and the dissolution of the Soviet Union. This production is part of the ‘Inabili alla morte / Nezmožni umreti’ project and will later tour to Trieste, Zagreb, Pavia, and Genoa.

Additionally, Alessandro Serra will direct three performances of Pier Paolo Pasolini’s ‘I Turcs tal Friùl’ between October 20 and 22. The production, which utilizes the Friulian language with Italian subtitles, depicts the 1499 Ottoman incursion into Friuli. Performances are scheduled for the Teatro Pasolini in Cervignano del Friuli on October 20, the Teatro Pasolini in Casarsa della Delizia on October 21, and the Teatro Sociale in Gemona del Friuli on October 22.
