EräViikingit defeat PSS 6-3 in F-liiga home opener

EräViikingit secured a 6-3 victory against PSS in their home opener of the F-liiga women's floorball season. The home team established an early lead, going up 4-1 in the first period with goals from Iina Latvala, Anni Räisälä, and Emma Parta, following assists from Taru Nordman and Natalie Sandström.

PSS attempted a comeback during the second period, scoring twice to narrow the gap, including a goal by Kerttu Rusanen and a power-play goal by Nuppu-Maria Saksa. However, EräViikingit maintained control, with Veera Lokka scoring the final goal into an empty net to seal the win.

In other F-liiga action, Koovee also earned a home victory, defeating the Northern Stars 5-3. Iita Viitanen contributed significantly to Koovee's win with 24 saves.
