Ervis Deti extradited from Albania to Italy for drug trafficking

Ervis Deti, a 41-year-old Albanian national, has been extradited from Albania to Italy as part of the international operation ‘The Wanted’. Deti is a suspected member of the criminal group led by Elvis Doçi, known as ‘Visi i Pojës’.

Italian judicial authorities in Bari had previously issued an arrest warrant for Deti in 2025 for drug trafficking within a structured criminal organization. He was apprehended in Albania during ‘Operation Ura’, a joint effort between Albanian and Italian authorities aimed at dismantling drug trafficking networks between the two countries.

Investigators allege that Deti acted as a transporter for narcotics. Specifically, Italian case files suggest he was involved in delivering approximately 2 kilograms of heroin from Albania to Bari. Deti will now face legal proceedings in Italy regarding these charges.
