Deportes Copiapó appoints Erwin Durán as new technical director

Deportes Copiapó has officially appointed Erwin Durán as its new technical director for his third stint with the club. Durán succeeds Argentine coach Héctor Almandoz, who was dismissed following a series of poor results that left the team in tenth place in the Liga de Ascenso.

Durán will lead a technical staff that includes local assistants Jonathan Viveros and Wilson Piñones, along with physical trainer Jonathan Monardez. The new coaching staff is scheduled to make its official debut on Wednesday, September 9, when the team hosts Magallanes at the Estadio Luis Valenzuela Hermosilla.
