An oath‑taking ceremony was held at the 59th Havan and Topçu (Artillery and Mortar) Training Brigade in Erzincan for young men who fulfilled Turkey's paid‑service (bedelli) requirement. Governor Hamza Aydoğdu presided, joined by Mayor Bekir Aksun, Brigade Commander Tuğgeneral Zafer Akkaş and Binali Yıldırım University rector Prof. Dr. Akın Levent, along with families of the conscripts.

The event began with a moment of silence and the playing of the İstiklal Marşı. The soldiers placed their hands on the Turkish flag and swore their oath. In his speech, Governor Aydoğdu stressed the value of military service, quoted Atatürk, and paid tribute to fallen heroes and veterans.
