Erzincan fire destroys eight homes in Kışlacık village

A fire in Kışlacık village, located in the Kemaliye district of Erzincan, has destroyed eight houses. The blaze reportedly began in a single home and spread to neighboring structures due to wind.

Emergency response efforts involved three fire engines from the Kemaliye Municipality, with additional support requested from the Ağın and Arapgir municipalities. While the fire was brought under control by firefighting teams, AFAD, and gendarmerie, eight homes were rendered unusable. No casualties or injuries were reported.

Erzincan Governor Hamza Aydoğdu visited the site to inspect the damage and meet with affected residents. He announced that the state would provide temporary housing and that efforts to clear debris and begin constructing permanent homes would commence as soon as possible.
