Erzincan hosts workshop on regional media challenges

A workshop was held in Erzincan to address the economic, professional, and structural challenges facing regional media. Hosted by the Erzincan Journalists Association, the event brought together various journalists' federations and associations from Eastern Anatolia, including representatives from Iğdır, Muş, and the Fırat Basin.

Participants discussed critical issues such as the sustainability of local press, digital transformation, combating disinformation, and the strengthening of professional rights for journalists. The session included contributions from academic experts, public institution representatives, and veteran journalists to develop solutions through collective reasoning.
