Erzincan Municipal Firefighters Complete Advanced 60‑Hour Training Program

Erzincan Municipality’s Fire Department and the Public Education Center have jointly conducted a 60‑hour "Firefighting, Fire Prevention and Extinguishing" course for municipal fire personnel. The program combines theoretical lessons with practical exercises that simulate a range of fire and rescue scenarios, including industrial, kitchen, electrical, and gas‑related incidents. Participants practiced operations such as navigating smoke‑filled environments, victim search and rescue, and handling refinery or tanker fires, using realistic training facilities like fire‑attack containers and a fire‑house maze.

The training aims to boost firefighters’ response capacity, improve rapid and coordinated action during emergencies, and enhance public safety for citizens and property across the region.
